OEM leather manufacturing, built to your specification

You own the design; we engineer and make it. Send a tech pack, a sketch or a sample to copy, and we take it through pattern making, material sourcing and prototyping into repeatable production.

For designers and product teams

Design studios with a collection ready to produce. Product companies that need a leather component or case made to spec. Brands moving an existing product to a new manufacturer. You need a partner who follows the specification and asks good questions when it's unclear.

What OEM development covers

Each stage can be taken on its own or as a complete service.

  • Working from tech packs, sketches or samples
  • Pattern making and grading
  • Material and hardware sourcing
  • Prototypes and fit samples
  • Costing at different specifications
  • Production to approved samples
  • Repeat production on file
  • Collection development over seasons

From specification to repeatable product

Product development is where most of the problems in production are solved. We build the pattern, choose leathers and hardware that meet your price and performance targets, and make prototypes until the sample matches your intent.

Once you approve it, that sample and its specification are locked. Repeat orders are produced against them, and new styles in the collection build on what's already proven. There's no blanket minimum. Some products have a practical minimum because of how they're made (a custom-cast buckle, for example, or printed boxes), and when one applies we tell you before you commit. Tell us the quantity you have in mind, even if it's small, and we'll tell you what's possible.

What to send us

The more you share, the faster the first sample. None of these is required to start.

Tech pack
Drawings, measurements, materials and construction details.
Reference sample
An existing product to copy or improve, posted to us.
Sketches and photos
Rough drawings or photos of products with details you like.
Target price
The cost you need to hit, so we can suggest materials and construction to match.
Quantities and timing
Expected order sizes and launch dates, so we plan development around them.
Brand assets
Logo files and label artwork, if the product carries your brand.

The development process

  1. A craftsman tracing a paper pattern onto a natural leather hide

    Step 1: Review your specification

We go through your tech pack or references and come back with questions and costing.

  2. Pebbled leather in grey and tan, overlapping

    Step 2: Pattern and materials

We make the pattern and source leathers and hardware for your approval.

  3. A leatherworker hand-stitching a piece at his bench, surrounded by tools

    Step 3: Prototype and refine

Prototypes are made and adjusted until you approve the final sample.

  4. Two kraft-paper retail boxes with a small printed logo on a warm background

    Step 4: Production and repeat

Production runs to the approved sample, with the specification kept for reorders.

Questions people ask

What's the difference between OEM and private label?

With OEM we manufacture your own design to your specification. With private label we put your brand on a product, which can be your design or one we develop. Many projects are both.

Can you work from a sample I post to you?

Yes. We can copy a sample exactly or use it as a starting point and make the changes you ask for.

Do you sign NDAs?

Ask us. Tell us about your project and we'll discuss protecting your designs before you share them.

Is there a minimum production quantity?

There's no blanket minimum. Some products have a practical minimum because of how they're made (a custom-cast buckle, for example, or printed boxes), and when one applies we tell you before you commit. Tell us the quantity you have in mind, even if it's small, and we'll tell you what's possible.

Can you source specific leathers?

We source leather and hardware to your specification. If you have a particular tannery or finish in mind, include it in your brief.
